Reading Rockets offers a wealth of reading strategies, lessons, and activities designed to help young children learn how to read and read better. Our reading resources assist parents, teachers, and other educators in working with struggling readers who require additional help in reading fundamentals and comprehension skills development.

Funders

The major funder for the Reading Rockets project is the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs.

Our project officer is Jane Hauser, a project administrator with the Division of Research to Practice in the Office of Special Education Programs in the U. S. Department of Education. Jane Hauser's work currently focuses on technology for students with disabilities, research-to-practice issues, and strengthening the delivery of technical assistance to support improved learning environments for children with disabilities.
